Professor De Hont is a business leader with a proven track record in publicly traded and private corporations with rapidly changing and highly competitive market environments. He retired as of August 2013, after spearheading the merger of Met-Pro Corporation with CECO Environmental Corporation at an 11.8x EBITDA Multiple and 43% premium to the closing price per share of Met-Pro common stock on the last trading day before execution of the Merger Agreement.

Today, he advises companies on an assortment of strategic and operational issues, and potential opportunities to help improve the performance and outcome of their businesses. Professor De Hont’s professional experience includes being Chairman, CEO, President, and Chief Operating Officer of Met-Pro Corporation, a $110 million, NYSE listed, global manufacturer of product recovery, pollution control, fluid handling, and filtration technologies; Vice President and General Manager of Met-Pro Corporation’s Fybroc and Dean Pump Divisions; Executive Vice President of Air & Water Technologies’ Research-Cottrell Service & Maintenance Group; and Vice President and General Manager of their Flex- Kleen subsidiary. Professor De Hont also served in various executive positions with Hosokawa Micron Corporation/MikroPul Corporation including: President of MikroPul Environmental Systems, Vice-President-General Manager of MikroPul Corporation, Vice President Technology and Operations, and Technical Director.

Professor De Hont served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and has received the following recognition for his business achievements; “Best CEO Award” 2008 & 09 – DeMarche Associates, Inc., 48th Annual Malcolm A. Schweiker Century Club Dinner Honoree, Hosokawa “President’s Award, and a 2009 Finalist-Ernst & Young Greater Philadelphia Entrepreneur of the Year.
