Welcome to Temple Engineering

The College of Engineering wants to make your transfer to Temple University as seamless as possible. We welcome students from all over the country and the world wanting to finish their engineering degrees at Temple.

Program-to-Program Transfers

Some regional community colleges have arrangements with Temple University that help to make it very easy to transfer. If you graduate from Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) with an Associate in Science (A.S.) in Engineering Science, the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) with an A.S. in Engineering Science, or from Camden County College (CCC) with an Associate in Engineering Science you will be able to complete a B.S. degree at Temple in just two more years if you make sure that you follow the plan of study, outlined below, at your community college. If you aren't able to follow the coursework exactly you'll still be able to transfer, but you will need to meet the program requirements outlined in the Temple program in order to obtain your B.S. degree.

Dual Admissions Program

These schools also have dual admissions agreements that help with a smooth transfer from community college to Temple University. Also, dual admissions makes merit scholarships available to the top A.S. candidates.

In order to enroll, you will need to fill out an Intent to Enroll form with your community college before you complete 30 college credits. You will also need to complete your A.S. with a minimum of a 2.3 GPA and begin your enrollment at Temple within a year of completion of coursework at the community college.

When you reach the semester before you intend to start at Temple, complete the transfer application and indicate that you are a dual admission student.

For more detailed information about your college's agreement with Temple University, please visit the Provost Office.
