Building and innovation for future engineering leaders.
As Temple College of Engineering continues to grow, so too does our commitment to encouraging our students. An integral part of this is through a strong, sustained engagement with corporate partners. The foundation of this relationship is through customized access to faculty, students, educational, research centers and laboratories, or with participating in career fairs, and hiring for internships, co-ops and permanent hire positions.
With research grounded in both novel and fundamental application, collaborating with the College of Engineering allows for broad opportunity. Corporate partners can engage with the College through exploratory development projects, providing funding for student research, donating or even discounting equipment or software licenses for ongoing research or sponsoring an industry event.
Top companies like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Gilbane Building Company, Hunter Roberts Construction, Johnson & Johnson and many others are collaborating with us on learning and developing the next innovations, as well as preparing and hiring the generation of Temple engineers. The College also can create special learning opportunities for your organization to train or refresh engineering knowledge or management techniques.
Engaging with current students through informational interviews.
Twice per academic year, our current students engage with engineering professionals through informational interviews.
Engineering professionals can offer their time for a one-on-one, 15-30-minute informational interview, allowing students to learn about their industry, role and career trajectory. Interviews are conducted once per semester. These conversations help prepare students for different engineering career paths, workplace experiences and professional development.
