Many of our students take their blossoming engineering knowledge out of labs and lecture halls and apply it through student professional organizations. Some of these groups are student chapters of professional organizations, providing support and events while on campus, and a network of professionals when you enter your career.
Often, groups take on entrepreneurial or service-oriented projects, such as Engineers Without Borders designing and building a clean water distribution system in Peru, or Temple Prosthetics and Orthotics creating a prosethetic leg for a dog, shown above.
