Black Temple Alumni Employed at Hensel Phelps as Recruiter

Students looking for an internship or full-time job in engineering are set to find the biggest and most prominent grouping of employers to date at the Engineering Career Fair on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

More than 75 employers from around the country will be at the career fair offering jobs to Temple Engineers. On the list are energy and utility companies such as AECOM, American Water and PPL and governmental agencies such as Amtrak, SEPTA, NJ DoT and the Philadelphia Streets Department. Just a few of the representative pharmaceutical, biomedical and manufacturing companies include companies such as Saint-Gobain, The Secant Group, US BioDesign and Merck. Construction companies include the likes of Gilbane, Pennoni and Turner Construction. High-tech companies, engineering consultancies, shipyards, telecommunications and many others will all be on hand to talk to students about their interests and promote the experiences they offer to student and graduates.

Associate Director of Career Development and Experiential Education, Michael Madera shared, "This is the largest Career Fair ever held at the College of Engineering. It continues the incredible growth we have seen in the last 4 years. Companies attending are recruiting across all of our departments and have been sharing feedback that the quality and career readiness of our students and graduates continues to impress. The growth of the Fair is proof that the word is starting to spread."

The College of Engineering Career Fair is taking place in room 200 of the Gittis Student Center on Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
