To the Temple Engineering Community, 

Welcome back! I hope you are as thrilled as I am as we commence another academic year. 

I hope your summer was filled with relaxation, rejuvenation, and professional growth, whether through internships or work, and that you're now ready to embrace the upcoming semester. The fall semester offers a wonderful opportunity for a fresh start and a new beginning.  

To those of you arriving on campus for the first time, a warm welcome! Cherish this moment—it's the start of an exciting journey. As you look back on this beginning in the future, it will surely be a cherished memory. Embrace the opportunity to make new friends and remember that our faculty, staff, and fellow students are here to support you. 

To our returning students, it’s great to see you back in our halls! Last year was a successful one for both our faculty and students, and we’re excited to continue that momentum with you. Temple Formula Racing achieved its highest-ever placement at the FSAE Michigan competition, students showcased their senior design project at NASA, and our faculty continued to receive recognition with grants and teaching awards. Aren’t you thrilled to be part of our family? 

Temple University is embarking on a new beginning alongside you as we prepare to welcome President John Fry to the helm on November 1st. 

This is an exciting time in Temple’s history, and I’m grateful we are here to experience it together.
