To the College of Engineering Community,
Welcome to the start of another new year and semester! I hope you all are rejuvenated and ready to jump back in.
While 2025 provides us with a fresh start, I always find that this is a wonderful time to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year, and luckily there is no shortage of those in College of Engineering. Our faculty opened a new research center and earned NSF funding. Students presented their work at NASA and earned scholarships. What amazing success we achieved in 2024!
With graduation and summer internships on the horizon, let’s take the time to get into the right mindset for the semester ahead. The pursuit of excellence in engineering can be a tough journey, but with the support and perseverance of our community, the journey is not one that we walk alone.
I can’t wait to see the success that awaits us in 2025. Even in my 22nd year as Dean, the thrill of a new year and excitement for progress never fades!
Let’s start the year strong together!
