To the Temple Engineering Community,

Welcome to the commencement of another exciting school year! To the Class of 2027, a warm and hearty welcome to the College of Engineering! We are delighted to have you join our ranks and are eagerly anticipating the remarkable accomplishments you will undoubtedly achieve. To our returning students, welcome back! I trust that you share in my enthusiasm for yet another year of building upon past accomplishments and forging ahead to attain new pinnacles of success.

Although the summer afforded us all a chance to rejuvenate, our students remained engaged in various pursuits such as summer research, internships, and diverse learning experiences. Noteworthy among these, several bioengineering students undertook a clinical immersion program at Temple Hospital, where they unveiled their discoveries. Concurrently, our faculty and graduate students orchestrated a high school summer program within their laboratories, while our scholars pursued internships at prestigious companies including Comcast, Lockheed Martin, and BMW.

The past year ushered in numerous transformations at Temple University, and true to our engineering spirit, we smoothly embraced these changes. As we embark on a new semester, I encourage you to revisit the essence of your decision to study engineering, reconnect with your driving forces, and envelop yourself with those who champion your journey. Should you require assistance, do not hesitate to seek help; both your professors and peers are dedicated to supporting you.

With the commencement of this forthcoming academic year, I extend my heartfelt wishes for your resounding success. May you navigate this journey with unwavering determination and achieve all that you aspire to accomplish!
