The 1986 ECE alumnus is part of a strong Temple legacy and Chairs the College of Engineering Board of Visitors.

Lynne Ewell, co-founder of Prism Engineering Inc., will be the featured speaker at the College of Engineering winter graduation ceremony.

Ewell founded Prism, formerly a leading provider of CAD/CAM design software and training to businesses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia, with her husband. Prism merged with Fisher Unitech in 2016.

In 2007, Ewell was inducted into the Temple University Women's Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. She received the Certificate of Honor from the College in 2009, and inducted into the University's Gallery of Success in 2010.

Ewell's father, John E. Tarka, was a Temple engineering professor for three decades. A design and manufacturing lab the Ewells donated to the College is named in his honor. Also, the John and Lynne Ewell scholarship recently recognized its first recipient.

The College of Engineering graduation ceremony will be held on December 20 at Temple Performing Arts Center.
