Honorable Timothy A. Reese (ENG, 90), former Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, will deliver the alumni keynote address at the College of Engineering spring commencement ceremony on May 9. He will be joined by Temple IEEE Vice President Tyler Ressler, a candidate to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering, who will deliver the student address.

Since earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Temple University, Mr. Reese has spent more than 28 years within the finance and technology industry. Currently, Mr. Reese is a registered investment banker and senior adviser to private industry and financial institutions.

Reese has successfully managed more than $10 billion in assets, built and sold three companies and invested in more than 15 others and was a Fellow at the Temple University Fox School of Business.

The Class of 2019 is Temple Engineering's largest ever, with students taking roles in industry with companies from Amazon Lab126, NASA and Lockheed Martin to pursuing graduate study at Vanderbilt University and University of Pennsylvania, among others. Senior Design winners and the John L. Rumph and Theodore P. Vassallo award winners will also be recognized. 

Following the University Commencement, the College of Engineering Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 9 at 1:00 PM at McGonigle Hall, 1800 N. Broad Street.
