Housed within the new Temple Center for Inclusive Competitiveness, our award winning STEM program for middle school and high school students promotes diversity, ingenuity and invention in afterschool clubs and programs statewide.
The program is hosted and supported by Temple University’s College of Engineering and is open to any K-12 school recognized by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Clubs of homeschooled students are also welcome to participate.
In addition, in 2017, Philadelphia hosted this high level competition which showcases the best of MESA National Engineering Design Competition (NEDC) teams. These teams use their critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork to deliver an engineering-based solution to a heart warming challenge.
