Monitoring and keeping chaotic behavior under control is the focus at the Chaotic Systems Laboratory. Despite the name, sitting back and being patient is the key to understanding.

The research performed in the Chaotic Systems Lab is centered around Nonlinear Multiscale (slow-fast) Dynamical Systems, with special emphasis on averaging resonance phenomena and chaos. The main applications include Chaotic advection and Mixing in Microfluidics, Plasma physics, and Control theory.
