The College of Engineering is proud to announce that Dr. Robert Brooks, associate professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, is the recipient of the 2015 ASEE National Outstanding Teacher Award. This award is given to instructors of ABET-accredited engineering and engineering technology programs. The recipient is selected from past winners of the Outstanding Teaching Awards in one of the 12 sections; the section leaders submit their nominees.

Dr. Brooks's primary research areas include the evaluation and testing of solids and pavement design. He is a Fellow of the American Society for Civil Engineers.
