Get the necessary skill sets to manage business by obtaining a Certificate in Engineering Management. The 9 semester hour prgram covers an introduction to the basic concepts of business management from the perspective of a technology professional, as well as an understanding of critical issues around new product development and market success for new technologies. This includes one required class (EMGT 5633) and 6 additional semester hours. If you decide to take the next step towards an M.S. in Engineering Management, in most cases these credits can be applied towards the master's degree.
To apply for the Certificate in Engineering Management, please complete and submit the following documents:

- Statistical Record for New and Returning Students
- Official transcript from each post-secondary institution attended
- Statement of Goals
- For applicants whose native language is not English, the TOEFL or IELTS exam is required with the following minimum scores: 79 on the internet-based TOEFL OR a 6.5 on the academic version of the IELTS.
